After releasing The Jackbox Party Pack 3 on Nintendo Switch many of our fans asked when The Jackbox Party Pack and The Jackbox Party Pack 2 would be coming to the platform. Unfortunately, since it is corporate policy to immediately burn all of the source code and assets for a game as soon as it is released, we had to make everything again from scratch.

It took a little longer than we had hoped, but we did it!

We’re pleased to announce that both The Jackbox Party Pack and The Jackbox Party Pack 2 will be released on Nintendo Switch on Thursday, August 17th, 2017.

Finally you will be able to grab a Nintendo Switch and play all of your favorites, including YOU DON’T KNOW JACK 2015, Drawful, Fibbage 2, Earwax, Bomb Corp, and, yes, even Word Spud. Hours and hours of Word Spud.

What’s that? Still not enough? Wow. Okay. Hmmm. How about this: The Jackbox Party Pack 4 will join the rest of the series on Nintendo Switch this fall.

Note to self: Maybe we shouldn’t burn everything.

In “Hollow,” you are one of the pilots that transports precious resource cargo from the mining ship Shakhter-One down to Earth. One day you wake up in an emergency capsule drifting near the facility. You don’t remember who you are, or how you got out there… All you can remember is an autopilot docking code for capsule dock NR 6.

When you dock with Shakhter-One, it is clear that something has gone horribly wrong. The crew is missing and the entire facility is dealing with catastrophic power issues. As you start to uncover the ship’s terrifying secrets, Shakhter-One threatens to take your identity, your sanity, and – ultimately – your life.

This Is the Police is a strategy/adventure game set in a city spiraling the drain. Taking the role of gritty Police Chief Jack Boyd, you’ll dive into a deep story of crime and intrigue. Will Jack reach his retirement with a nice stack of bills, or will he end up broken… or worse?

A Knight’s Quest pays homage to the classic 3D adventure games of the past and puts players in the shoes of Rusty, a reluctant hero who sets out to save the world after accidentally endangering it.

Rusty must explore the enormous game world – packed full of dungeons, side quests and secrets to discover – to defeat the evil spirit he released into the world after a mishap with a magical vase.

Players must defeat enemies using the game’s epic combat system, overcome tricky puzzles using elemental powers and master the world-bending powers of the Spirit Shield to help him save the day.

A Knight’s Quest also boasts a rich sense of humour. Packed full of jokes and mischievous side quests, the game is both a loving homage and a pastiche of the series it’s based on – offering fans of the series a plenty of laughs along the way.

Essentially, The Tower of Permanence is an action game. You’ll be tasked with climbing a tower filled with different traps and enemies. Since the inside of the tower is procedurally generated, you’ll have a new tower to take on each day. Also fleshing out the experience are daily challenges that let you compete for the highest score with other players. You can also leave a dying message on your grave for others to see when they die.
