Så er det tid til en ny koncert med spilmusik

D. 6. juli i Hollywood Bowl, og ydermere i Denver, Colorado, Atlanta, Georgia, Boston, Massachusetts, samt i andre byer som ikke er angivet endnu, vil der blive afholdt koncerter med spilmusik kaldet Video Games Live.
Komponisterne til musikken er Tommy Tallarico (Earthworm Jim, Advent Rising) og Jack Wall (Splinter Cell, Jade Empire).
Sammen med musikken vil der være laserlys til at se på samtidigt, og enkelte puplikumsdeltagere vil få mulighed for at komme op på scenen hvor orkestret så vil akkompagnere mens man spiller et spil.

Så hvis man er i nærheden af en af disse koncerter i USA, så er det en oplevelse man ikke skal undgå.

Tommy Tallarico sagde bl.a.:
"Fans of video games are going to be amazed at what we have in store for them. Never before has the music of video games been presented on this scale. Live entertainment is about to evolve."

Og han sagde også: "Video games have become one of the most thrilling and electrifying forms of entertainment in the 21st century. We intend to capture that same excitement level to help create the ultimate celebration of video games for everyone to enjoy."

Jack Wall sagde også følgende:
"Video game music is not bleeps and bloops anymore. People are absolutely shocked when they hear this music,"
"This music represents a true art form. The success of this tour will demonstrate to the world that video game music can command the attention of gamers and non-gamers alike."

Med disse ord, kan man ikke andet end, at være overbevist om at disse koncerter er noget stort. Men det kan enhver gamer jo nok regne ud...
