AIAS priserne er sammen sat at stemmer fra udviklerne, udgiverne og pressen fra spilverden.
Nintendo har selvfølige vundet nogle af priserne, blandt andet, for bedste familie spil, Donkey konga, bedste RPG, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, bedste håndholdte spil Metroid: Zero Mission, og bedste trådløse spil Super Mario 64 DS.
