"Nintendo blew us all away with perhaps the highest quality line-up of inventive software we've ever seen, utilising the dual screens, touch-screen technology, sound-recognition software, wireless networking and in-built microphone.
A perfect example of the DS' ability to be enjoyed by anyone is when the daughter of one of our team, at six years old, figured out how to use the bubble-blower on Nintendogs before her Dad (a gamer for 20+ years) did. How? By blowing on the console of course. Durr!"
GAME skriver: "When we saw the first generation of Xbox 360 games, we couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed.
That's not because they're not stunning-looking - they are. Rather, it has more to do with the fact that the best-looking game (Resident Evil 4) we've seen this year is on the lowly four-year-old GameCube.
