Det var ikke kun nyt software, der blev afsløret under Super Mario 35th Direct i anledningen af Marios 35 års fødselsdag. En helt ny Game & Watch er nemlig i dag udkommet, og den indeholder det ikoniske Super Mario Bros. Prisen på enheden kan du se til højre for nyheden her (eller under den i mobilvisning), og lanceringstraileren kan du se lige her:

Det er med at få fast i førsteudgaven, da denne indeholder en fejl:"We would like to inform you about an error with one of the digital clock’s 35 little touches in the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. system.
Unfortunately, the ‘Mario Drawing’ song (vocalised in English only) that can be accessed by holding the A button, displays an incorrect language’s set of lyrics if German, French, Italian or Spanish is selected from the title screen. English, Dutch and Japanese languages remain unaffected."

Der er lidt guf fra Nintendo selv omkring indholdet i denne sag:– Finish Super Mario Bros. and you’ll unlock hard mode, with different enemies appearing; in the original game, hard mode was only available until you turned off the Nintendo Entertainment System
– Unlock Infinite Mario mode in Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels by holding the A button at the title screen
– Press and hold the A button for more than 5 seconds on the title screen of the Ball game to play as Luigi
– 35 special events are included in the Digital Clock
– 7:00 AM/PM – Monty Mole appears from the ground and runs around
– 1:11 AM/PM – 3 Bloopers appear and swim up to the top of screen
– 5:55 AM/PM – Blocks showing the time change to coins
