Under den seneste Nintendo Direct her i juni måned blev Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition annonceret til Switch 2. Spillet udkom oprindeligt i 2018 og 2020, og denne version af spillet kommer med alt ekstra-indhold udgivet hidtil. I dag er det så udkommet digitalt, mens den fysiske version af spillet udgives 28. august (som game key card-udgivelse dog).
I forbindelse med udgivelsen er der udsendt en ny trailer, som ses her:
Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition koster 299 kr. på eShop, men fås indtil 7. juli for 224,50 kr.

#1– This is a plus to get the game running in great shape for Nintendo Switch 2
– Frame rate is a smooth 60 FPS during gameplay
– Only some one-off dropped frames
– Cutscenes are more in the 50-60s
– Switch 2 frame rate is an improvement over PS4
– 120 FPS available for docked play (with unlocked frame rate) through the system settings, but this mode is more around 80-90 FPS
– Another improvement on Switch 2 is load times
– Switch 2 version is brighter than other platforms
– Unclear if this is a choice or some sort of result done from RE Engine games on Switch 2
– Switch 2 seems to use DLSS for resolution
– Docked resolution is 540p, likely upscaled to 1080p
– Switch 2 is cleaner than the PS4 version even though the PS4 has an internal 1080p resolution
– Graphical effects similar across Switch 2, PS4, and PS5
– Portable mode runs at about 360p, upscaled to somewhere around 720p
